Who can play?

Informal Recreation is open to any currently enrolled UT student, RecSports members, and UT staff/faculty and spouse with a RecSports membership.

Sport Clubs are offered through the University and are open to currently enrolled students and UT faculty/staff with a current RecSports membership (for clubs that choose to offer affiliate memberships). Check the individual Sport Club Web site for complete information.

Where can I play?

Students and RecSports members can participate in Informal Recreation badminton in the Recreational Sports Center on Court 3 (2.200).

The Informal Recreation schedule is subject to change to accommodate academic classes, RecSports programs, maintenance projects, University holidays, and special events. Please visit the facility hours and current reservations pages for the most up-to-date information. Also, any UT student can participate in the Badminton Sport Club. What else should I know?

If you need equipment, racquets can be checked out at the Recreational Sports Center control desk, and shuttlecocks can be purchased at our Gregory Gym Store.
