Recreational Sports manages 8 facilities both on and off campus. These facilities include over 500,000 square feet of indoor and 40 acres of outdoor activity space. Open over 1,700 hours each week, the facilities are supervised by a student staff of approximately 250. In addition to serving as sites for RecSports activities, the facilities are reserved annually for over 230 different campus organizations, accounting for more than 5,000 individual reservations.

Among the activities and events held at RecSports facilities are commencement ceremonies, student government meetings, Dance Marathon, Freshman Admission Lock-ins, the Orange and White Ball and Campus Fusion.
