Group Training is a great option for those seeking high quality training, a motivating group, and a less expensive option than one-on-one personal training. Sessions are led by a Certified Personal Trainer that will provide motivation, accountability, program design, and safety modifications to each member of the group. Non-member pricing is now available to UT faculty and staff.

SUP Yoga
4 or 8 sessions
Members: $90 (4 sessions) or $120 (8 sessions)
UT Fac/Staff Non-Members: $100 or $154 (does not include RecSports facility access)
Stand up paddleboard yoga, also known as Sup Yoga is yoga built from the ground up. Let the board be your mat! Because the paddleboard surface is somewhat unstable all postures begin with attention to foundation. Grounding into the instability of the board brings either a new level of mindfulness to the practice of yoga or a quick swim!
Sup Yoga includes all the postures a land class would from savanasana (laying on your back) to headstand. However, on the board the flow is very slow and timed to your breath. This practice demands that you relax even as you challenge your strength and balance. A RecSports yoga instructor will lead this small group on a paddle on the Fiesta Garden's lagoon followed by a series of basic yoga poses on the paddleboard. This course will meet at the Comacho Center located at 34 Robert T Martinez Jr St., Austin, TX 78702 (map). Basic yoga experience preferred.
