TeXercise includes over 100 weekly fitness and mind/body classes/week.
Group Cycling includes over 35 cycling classes/week.
Combo (TeXercise & Cycling) includes over 135 weekly TeXercise & Cycling classes.
AQUA includes water exercise classes.
PRC allows PRC RecSports members to participate in TeXercise classes @ PRC.

You must be a current student or RecSports member to purchase a pass.  You may purchase your pass online or in the Programs & Memberships Office in Gregory Gym (2.204)

Schedules

  • Schedules are subject to change. Most updated schedule is the ONLINE schedule.
  • Instructors will be substituted from time to time.
  • Classes may be canceled if attendance is consistently low.

TeXercise (group exercise) Class Policies

Please help us reduce your risk of injury and create an enjoyable exercise experience for all participants by following these guidelines:

  • 5-Minute Rule: Participants may enter a class up to five minutes after the scheduled start. Entrance is prohibited after five minutes have passed to ensure that all participants arrive early enough to become sufficiently warmed up for the vigorous parts of each class.
  • If you need to leave class early, please inform the instructor.
  • Please inform the instructor if you have any special considerations (e.g., pregnancy, injury, illness, recent surgery) which may influence your ability to take a class.
  • Proper athletic footwear should be worn in fitness classes.

Group Cycling Class Policies

  • Participants MUST bring a towel and water bottle to EVERY class.
  • Participants must purchase a Cycling or Combo (TeXercise + Cycling) pass to participate. Purchase online at www.utrecsports.org or in the Programs Office of Gregory Gym.
  • Request a laminated pass from ID scanner for the cycling class you are attending.
    Place your laminated pass on your cycle bike handlebars as it will then be picked up by the instructor at the beginning of the class.
    A separate laminated pass is needed if you plan to attend the Cycling Ab Lab class. Ask for this from ID scanner @ RSC.
  • We encourage cycling participants to arrive 5-minutes before class to allow time for proper set up on bikes – & to record their set-up on the bike set-up cards in the studio.
  • Participants are not allowed in a class after 5-minutes have passed. This is for your safety and the safety of the class.
  • Our bikes have SPD clips. Participants are welcome to bring cycling shoes that clip into our pedals, but may NOT remove the pedals and insert their own clips.

TeXercise & Cycling Class Entrance Procedures

GRE and RSC
You must have a TeXercise, Cycling, or COMBO (TeXercise + Cycling) pass to participate.Your UT ID will be scanned allowing you to receive an entrance number to get into the classes. These are available 30 minutes prior to the start of class. You may pick up an entrance number for yourself only. Give your class entrance number to instructor at the door of studio. You will not be admitted to the class without a number.

PRC
Please be prepared to show your PRC pass/card to the building coordinator.

All locations

  • Class sizes are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. A pass is required.
  • Please wait for the instructor or facility staff to admit you into the studio.
  • Faculty/staff classes are limited to UT faculty/staff with current RecSports memberships and a TeXercise pass. Please be prepared to show your faculty/staff UT ID when entering these classes.
