ELIGIBILITY
Massage Services are available to currently enrolled students and RecSports members. A $10 guest pass may be purchased for non-members to qualify for massage services.
SERVICES OFFERED BY REGISTERED AND CERTIFIED THERAPISTS
UT RecSports offers an incredible massage program for currently enrolled students and RecSports members, which offers 15-minute chair and 30, 60, or 90-minute table massages. Additionally, upgrades like deep tissue, aroma therapy, and hot towel can be added for $5 each to any table massage appointment. Hot stone may be added for $15. Herbal wraps, paraffin wax, and 30-minute spa express options are also available. These quality services are provided by licensed and registered massage therapists and are affordable, convenient, and conducted on the lower level of Gregory Gym in the Massage Center.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
In the event that you will need written documentation concerning an appointment, RecSports requires arrangements be made two weeks prior to intial visit and each subsequent visit; additional fee(s) may be required.
SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS
Simply call 471-3116 Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm to schedule your appointment.
Walk-ins are taken, on weekdays, but it is best to make an appointment since our services are very popular and some of the specialty services require additional set-up time.
Weekend times are available by appointment only and require a one-hour minimum service.
If you have to cancel or need to change your appointment, please do so as soon as possible to allow us to schedule others. For weekend appointments, please contact our office by 5pm on Fridays.

- Massage service requires student status or a RecSports membership, so please present your UT ID card or RecSports membership card for access to the Gym Store and/or the Massage Center.
- Purchase your certificate in person in the Programs Office located in Gregory Gym 2.200, or in the Gregory Gym Store located near the Exercise Lounge on the lower level of Gregory Gym. For Gym Store hours, click here.
- Present your UT ID card or RecSports membership card for entry into Gregory and then present your certificate to your therapist at the time of the appointment.
- The Massage Center is located in Gregory Gym 1.106 - on the lower level around the corner and down the hall from the climbing wall.

Massage Descriptions
Hot Stone Upgrade $15
Add a Hot Stone Upgrade to any table massage. Massage therapists use smooth, heated stones enhanced with essential oils as an extension of their hands, allowing them to work at deeper levels with lingering heat. This upgrade requires preparation, so please let us know when you schedule your appointment that you desire hot stone.
Deep Tissue Upgrade $5
Add a deep tissue upgrade to any table massage.
Aroma Therapy Upgrade $5
Scent has the power to move us in many different ways and now you can enhance your massage by adding your favorite scented
oil or essential oil to your treatment. Choose from wild rose, ylang ylang, sea buckthorne or pina colada oil/lotion; lavender,
orange, rosemary, or peppermint essential oils; or our special blend of essential oils for stress relief, relaxation, or muscle comfort.
Hot Towel Upgrade $5
Add a steamy, hot herbal towel compress for your back and neck. Towels are soaked in fragrant herbs. This makes a great added feature to your massage. This upgrade requires preparation, so please let us know when you schedule your appointment that you desire a hot towel.

Herbal Wrap - 30 minutes for $32
Perfect alone or the perfect ending to your massage! This aromatic heat treatment is achieved by wrapping the body in linens steamed
in fragrant herbs followed by a luxurious face massage and alternating hot and cold chamomile cloths to the forehead. This
treatment helps to remove toxins and impurities, but best of all, it is calming beyond belief! Appointments for this service are recommended.
Paraffin Wax Treatment - 30 minutes for $32
Paraffin wax heat therapy provides intensive moisture therapy that nourishes skin while penetrating heat increases circulation, eases
aching joints, relaxes stiff muscles, and leaves skin soft with a radiant and healthy appearance. This treatment includes massage of the extremity
being treated. Our paraffin wax is a perfect treat for hands or feet, a viable treatment for joint or muscle pain or a wonderful
upgrade to your massage. Appointments for this service are recommended.
Foot Treatment - 60 minutes for $53
Sit back and relax with this soothing foot treatment that includes a footbath and soak, exfoliation and mask, and foot and lower leg massage. This treatment ends with a paraffin wax treatment for the feet. It includes hydrating hand massage during the foot soak. Appointments for this service are recommended.
Chair Massage - 15 minutes for $15
Chair massage is performed in a specially designed chair and focuses on the neck, back, shoulders, arms, and hands. Since no
removal of clothing is necessary, it allows you to enjoy the benefits of massage in a shorter period of time. Chair massage is a
great pick-me-up between classes or a perfect break from a stressful day at work.

Mobile Massage
General Information
Let RecSports bring massage services to your office or special event. RecSports massage therapists are available for chair massages at the location of your choice.
Mobile Massage requires a one-hour minimum service time. The fee for Mobile Massage is $60 per hour per therapist. One therapist can accommodate 5 participants for 10 minutes each in one hour. One therapist can accommodate 10 participants for 5 minutes each in one hour.
Parking Arrangements for Therapists: Because the massage therapists come from off-campus, guaranteed parking arrangements are required. Your department can make arrangements for guaranteed parking or we can provide parking arrangements for a $20 fee per event.
Mobile Massage Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 business hours in advance of the event. A 50% cancellation fee will apply to cancellations made in less than 24 business hours.
