Many UT RecSports donors are employed by companies that encourage donations to higher education and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Thus, the impact of your gift can be sizably greater! Matching gift companies work with employees to offer additional funding to the specific RecSports programs supported by their employees. Donors who wish to support UT RecSports can provide more substantial support with the assistance of a matching gift company.

Companies that offer corporate matching contribute a major part of the dollars raised for UT's giving programs by adding to an employee’s higher education gift. Donors who wish to make gifts can do so at a significantly lower cost with their employer’s assistance.

Retired Employees

Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. Corporations often have special qualifying processes for individuals who retired from their company, including different matching ratios. Contact your former employer's Human Resources department to see if your employer currently offers this program.
