Ultimate

Announcements​  
  • Play begins Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at the Wright-Whitaker Sports Complex (WWF).   
  • Pool play is three weeks long. Teams will play once per week on the day and time for which they registered.   
  • There are no “bye” weeks for this event.   
  • Roster additions will be available at the close of registration.

Note: University of Texas Club Ultimate players from last year and this year are limited in participation (see below).  Any teams that qualify for the playoffs with two or more club players on the roster will be placed in the “A” bracket. 

Playoff Qualifying Policies
  • All teams who win finish in the top 50% of their pool will be placed in a single elimination bracket.
  • Teams must meet the minimum requirements for sportsmanship, regardless of record or place.
  • Players must participate in at least one pool play game to be eligible for elimination play.  
  • Teams must show up and play all scheduled pool play games to be eligible for the playoffs. 
Eligibility Exceptions
  • Scholarship athletes, letter winners, and squad members from any current UT Athletics team are limited to 2 per team.   
  • Current and former professional Ultimate players are not eligible.   
  • Current and former University of Texas Club Ultimate members (players and coaches) are limited per team as follows - this includes all members listed on the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 club rosters.  
    • Men's Division - maximum of 3  
    • Coed Division - maximum of 2 male players and 2 female players (total of 4)  
Rules of Play
  • Teams play seven vs. seven, and a minimum of five players must be present to start. 
  • Coed teams require three male and three female players, and the 7th player may be either gender. 
  • The maximum roster limit is 15. 
  • Athletic apparel is required.  
  • Jewelry of any type is not permitted.
