Members sponsoring others

Faculty and Staff, with a current RecSports membership, are eligible to sponsor 1 other adult, who they know well, and children age 15 and under, for a RecSports membership.  The current RecSports member who wishes to sponsor a member must appear in person, in the Membership Services Office in Gregory Gym 2.200 and agree to sponsor the individual.

All non-UT prospective members will be required to come in person to GRE 2.200 when joining RecSports for the first time and present a state issued photo ID. 

At this visit, all paperwork can be completed and each non-UT individual will receive a scannable photo ID. UT faculty and staff will use their UT ID for access to recreation facilities.

Sponsored members are eligible for the same facility access as students as well as access to all programs and services, by paying established fees. 

Sponsored Members are NOT eligible to participate in intramurals or sport clubs.
