Early Renewals

Re-Invest in Your Health! Let us renew you for 2018-2019.

As a payroll deduction patron, you'll save time by letting RecSports renew your membership and other services.

Select the best option for you by midnight on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

Option

I want to renew everything.

You don’t need to do anything; you don’t need to email us or call us.  Sit back and let RecSports do the work for you! Once your order has been processed you will receive an email confirmation with your receipt attached. Your first deduction will take place either September 1, 2018 or October 1, 2018 depending on your appointment.
I want to renew, but I do not want to renew everything. Unfortunately, we are only able to renew all or none of the items. If you only want to renew part of what you are currently payroll deducting (example: renew membership but not renew your locker), please opt out by emailing your name and EID to utrs.memberships@austin.utexas.edu writing “opt out” in the subject line by midnight April 8, 2018. Beginning May 1, 2018 you will be able to renew on your own, choosing which items you want to keep.
I do not want to renew. Please opt out by emailing your name and EID to utrs.memberships@austin.utexas.edu writing “opt out” in the subject line by midnight April 8, 2018. The items you are currently payroll deducting will remain valid until August 31, 2018 so you can continue using the gym through the summer.

Retiring on or before August 31, 2018? Please opt out by emailing your name and EID to utrs.memberships@austin.utexas.edu writing “opt out” in the subject line by midnight Sunday, April 8. Once you retire, stop by the Memberships Office (GRE 2.204) and we will get you renewed for 2018-2019.  Retirees are not eligible for payroll deduction.

Not a payroll deduction patron? Faculty and staff who have paid via check, cash, or credit card will be offered the same early renewal option starting May 1, 2018. Stay tuned for additional details!
