Climbers will be introduced to more advanced movement skills and learn how to manage top rope climbing systems indoors. Students will understand how to use gear such as a harness, belay devices, carabiners, and rope to explore the vertical climbing environment. The course will teach students how to belay a top rope climber, how to lower them to the ground, and how to manage the rope while climbing.

Prerequisite: Completion of the Bouldering class or documented appropriate climbing experience.
