The first few days of every semester we offer the opportunity for current students and RecSports members to try out TeXercise and Group Cycling classes for free. This gives you a chance to try out different class offerings before you invest in purchasing a semester pass. Get to classes early this week - they fill fast!
Once the facility staff scans your card at the front desk and confirms that you have purchased a pass, ask them for a laminated pass to get into the class you want to attend. You will then give that pass to the instructor at the door of the studio when he/she lets you in. All participants entering classes must give the instructor at the door a laminated boarding pass to enter... Even during Try Before You Buy week. Passes are handed out 30 minutes prior to the start of each class.
They are the same thing... except the name Spinning® is trademarked.
Yes. We offer a limited schedule of classes during the week of spring break.
Participants are not allowed to join a class if they are more than 5 minutes late due to safety reasons. Please remember to show up early so you can get your laminated pass and ensure your spot in the class.
Our bikes have SPD clips. Participants are welcome to bring cycling shoes that clip into our pedals, but may not remove the pedals and insert their own clips. If you do not have cycle shoes, please wear athletic shoes.
Yes. However, we provide all other equipment including foam execise mats.
Yes. Although not guaranteed, we make every effort to meet your request. If you are not sure which trainer is right for you - we will select a trainer for you based on your availability, health history, experience and goals.
Sessions can be conducted in any RecSports facility during operating hours. Once you and your trainer have connected the two of you will decide specifically where and when to meet.
