Party on the Plaza 2023
Last week, we celebrated the start of the fall term with Party on the Plaza, presented by American Campus Communities! Every year, the UT community descends on Gregory Gym Plaza and Speedway to meet the hundreds of student organizations and campus departments across the Forty Acres. In 2023, 333 student organizations and 21 university departments participated.
The event also featured a number of brand activations, providing participants with food, activities, and giveaways.
The Scholarship Shootout, presented by UFCU, is always a major highlight of Party on the Plaza, and this year, nearly 800 students competed! Two winners emerged from the 268 finalists, hitting their final shots when it mattered most. Both students received a $2,500 scholarship and $1,000 from UFCU.
