UT Alumni, Campus Visitors, & Community Members
RecSports memberships are available for UT alumni, individuals 18 years or older who are not affiliated with UT, and campus visitors who do not qualify for Faculty/Staff memberships.
Membership Benefits
- Access to seven RecSports facilities at The University of Texas at Austin.*
- Ability to reserve tennis, pickleball, handball, racquetball, squash, and wallyball courts up to seven days in advance.
- Eligible to register for select programs and purchase additional services (UT Alumni and Community members only).
- Eligible to purchase Youth Memberships for minor children (age 17 and under).
*Please note that access to Bellmont Hall for RecSports members who are UT Alumni & Community Members is limited to weekdays from 6am-7pm. Access after 7pm and on weekends is restricted to UT ID holders only.

How to Join
There are two ways to purchase a membership:
Online
- Create a UT EID and password using the UT EID Self-Service Tool if you do not already have one. You will need a UT EID to log into the RecSports Online store to manage your account and purchase additional services once your membership is approved.
- Complete and submit the New Member Information Form [Adults]. Please be prepared to upload a headshot photo on the form, which will be used for your RecSports ID card to access facilities.
- The Membership & Guest Services staff will contact you via phone within 24 business hours to complete the process.
In-Person
- Visit the Membership & Guest Services Office in Gregory Gym during office hours. The process will take about 15 minutes for an individual or 20 minutes if also purchasing a Youth Membership.
Returning Members
- If you are a former RecSports member interested in reactivating your membership and have a RecSports ID card, please contact Membership & Guest Services at memberships@utrecsports.org or (512) 471-6370.
UT Alumni
Eligibility Information
- UT alumni are welcome to purchase RecSports memberships, regardless of their graduation year.
- You will need your UT EID to purchase a membership. If you are unable to access your UT EID, please visit the UT EID Self-Service Tool to recover your information.
