Eligibility Information
- UT faculty and staff with a current appointment are eligible to purchase a RecSports membership.
Membership Benefits
- Access to all RecSports facilities at The University of Texas at Austin.
- Access to the Faculty and Staff Locker Rooms and Weight Room at Gregory Gym.
- Ability to reserve tennis, pickleball, handball, racquetball, squash, and wallyball courts up to seven days in advance. Learn more about Court Reservations.
- Ability to purchase a membership for minor children (age 17 and under). Learn more.
30-Day Complimentary Membership Trial
Experience why for over a century, the UT and Austin area community have trusted RecSports for their fitness and recreation activities. Try your first 30 days on us. No contract or payment method is required. This one-time, 30-day complimentary membership trial includes access to all RecSports facilities, TeXercise in-person and on-demand classes, towel service, and sports equipment checkout.
How to Join
- Please log into the RecSports Online Store with your UT EID and password to purchase your membership.
- You may purchase your membership with a debit or credit card. Your membership fee will be automatically charged to your card on the first day of the month until you choose to cancel or modify your membership. You may manage your account and view your billing history on My Account.
- Current UT faculty and staff who have a letter of medical necessity for a RecSports membership and/or services may claim reimbursement from PayFlex. However, please note that PayFlex does not allow for pre-payment of services.
