Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and Refund Policies
- Some items incur a cancellation fee that is deducted from the refund amount. Please see the Program/Service-Specific Policies section for more information.
- Refunds for partial months will not be issued for any recurring items.
- Refunds will not be issued if cancellation deadlines are missed unless medical documentation is provided.
How to Cancel Recurring Charges to Credit Cards
Please follow the self-cancellation instructions below to cancel your items by the posted cancellation deadlines.
- Log in to the RecSports Online Store with your UT EID.
- Select the “My Account” link at the top of the page.
- Under the “Active Items” list, select the orange “Cancel” button at the end of the row.
- If the item is a recurring, monthly charge, there will be two prompts that confirm the cancellation.
- If the item is a one-time fee, a link to the Cancellation Request Form will appear.
Cancellation Deadlines
Recurring Credit Card Payment Deadlines
Self-cancellation deadlines are at 11:45pm on the last day of the month.

Example: if the payment date is 12/1/23, then you must cancel by 11/30/23.

Lockers must be cleaned out by their expiration date. A $20 content handling fee will be assessed for contents not cleaned out by the expiration date.
Towel Service

TeXercise and Climbing Wall Bouldering Passes

Refunds requested due to medical reasons must be submitted with a physician’s note. Physician’s notes may be emailed to memberships@utrecsports.org. Approved refunds will incur a $10 administrative fee.
Classes/Clinics/Series

Cancellation fee: $10

Participants must request to cancel or transfer to another individual at least five business days before the start date. If a transfer is approved, an individual is no longer eligible for a refund.

Make-up classes/sessions are not offered for participants who miss scheduled classes.
Personal Training Sessions

Sessions are non-refundable and expire 365 days after purchase.
Adventure Trips

Intramural Sports

Cancellation fee: $10

Entry fees are non-refundable after the close of registration.
Massage Services

Services are non-refundable and expire 90 days after purchase.

Mobile Massages must be canceled at least 24 business hours before the event, or a 50% cancellation fee will be assessed.
Private Lessons (Swim and Tennis)

Sessions are non-refundable.
