What to Expect In the Studio

Here’s what you can expect the next time you join us for an in-studio class:

Valid TeXercise Pass required.

You must have a valid TeXercise All-Access pass to participate in in-studio classes.

Reserve your spot in advance.

Advance reservations are encouraged for all in-person classes to guarantee your spot. You may book reservations up to seven days prior to the class start time. Classes are available for reservations on My RecSports on a rolling basis by start time, seven days in advance. Registration closes 30 minutes prior to the start of class. You will receive an email reminder 24 hours prior to the start of your reservation.  If your plans change, please cancel your reservation on My RecSports to open that spot up for someone else.

Proper athletic attire must be worn when participating.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required in all studio spaces unless instructed by a TeXercise instructor to remove them.
  • Shirts that cover the entire back and shoulders are encouraged to keep equipment clean and dry.
Bring your own towel and water bottle to every class.

To improve the cleanliness of our workout spaces, please bring your own cardio/sweat towel to wipe weight and cardio equipment before and after each use. Cardio towels are available for check out through towel service.

Bring your own mat to class.

Although none of our classes require a mat, we recommend you bring your own mat if you plan to use one.

Running late?

You may enter a class up to five minutes after the scheduled start if the class is not already full, with the exception of F45 Training. Entrance is prohibited after five minutes have passed to ensure that all participants arrive early enough to become sufficiently warmed up for the vigorous parts of each class. We recommend you arrive at the F45 Training Studio class location (Recreational Sports Center) five minutes early.

Group Cycling Class Policies
  • We encourage you to bring a towel and water bottle to every class.
  • You are encouraged to arrive at class at least 10 minutes before class begins to allow time to set up your bike and check in. If you are new to indoor cycling, please arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins so that the instructor can help fit your bike.
  • Our bikes have SPD clips. You are welcome to bring cycling shoes that clip into our pedals, but may not remove the pedals and insert your own clips.
