DeDe and Joe Bill Watkins Endowed Scholarship
The DeDe and Joe Bill Watkins Endowed Scholarship honors the spirit, passion and success of one of the Division’s supporters. Joe Bill Watkins can be found on the Intramural Wall of Fame 13 times for a variety of different sports. When he wasn’t playing with his teams, he stayed busy studying law and stayed active with the Delta Tau Delta fraternity and Texas Cowboys organization. His love of intramurals and the experiences he had participating in them have led him back to the 40 Acres, where he now spends countless hours helping RecSports with fundraising efforts and chairing the RecSports Leadership Team. It is because of Joe Bill that many of today’s scholarships exist.
