All teams that finish in the top 50% of their pool will be placed in a single elimination bracket.
Teams must meet the minimum requirements for sportsmanship, regardless of record or place.
Players must participate in at least one pool play game to be eligible for elimination play.
Teams must show up and play all scheduled pool play games to be eligible for the playoffs.
Eligibility Exceptions
Current collegiate softball and baseball players are not eligible.
Scholarship athletes, letter winners, and squad members from any current academic year UT Athletics team other than softball and baseball are limited to 2 per team.
Former collegiate softball and baseball players must appeal prior to participating in any division.
UT Club Baseball members (players and coaches) are limited to 3 per team and must play in the highest division offered. This includes all members listed on the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 rosters.
Rules of Play
A regulation intramural softball team includes ten players (8 minimum).
A regulation coed team includes six males and four females.
The maximum roster limit is 15.
Players should provide their own gloves, if possible. A limited number of gloves will be available for checkout at the field.
Game balls and bats will be provided by the Intramural Sports program. Teams may not use personal balls or bats during the game.
Pre-game warm-up balls will be available at the field.
Warm-up bats and equipment for practice sessions are available for checkout at the Wright-Whitaker Sports Complex main entrance.
