Sylvie And Gary Crum Endowed Scholarship
In January 2009, the Board of Regents accepted a gift from Sylvie and Gary Crum of Houston to establish the Sylvie and Gary Crum Endowed Scholarship to benefit the Division of Recreational Sports. Gary Crum received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from SMU in 1969, and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin in 1972. Sylvie Crum received a bachelor’s degree in French from The University of Texas at Austin in 1974. The couple appreciates the value of sports in the overall college experience and is proud to award a scholarship to an outstanding student employee.
