Fourth of July Holiday
On Saturday, July 4, all RecSports facilities will be closed in observance of this University holiday. Regular summer hours will resume on Sunday, July 5. In addition, all TeXercise and Group Cycling classes will be canceled on July 4 and 5.
Bring a Buddy Week
Don't let the heat keep you from working out. RecSports invites all members to bring a buddy to work out with you July 6-12. Check out the details of our Bring a Buddy promotion and get ready to double your fun!
Protect Yourself While Working Out
RecSports participants are encouraged to continue efforts to protect themselves against illness, such as H1N1, while working out. Remember to wash your hands frequently, disinfect fitness equipment before and after use, wear shoes in the locker room facilities and use a towel on weight benches. For more information on the H1N1 flu and ways to prevent it, please visit the University Health Services Web site.
Safety Ed Classes
Get certified with RecSports. American Red Cross classes, including CPR/AED and Standard First Aid classes, are being offered this summer. The classes are convenient, affordable and held in Gregory Gym.
Group Passes Available Now Stay fit this summer through a weekly regimen of fitness classes. Check out the schedules for TeXercise, Group Cycling and Aqua classes. Passes are available now and can be purchased online or in GRE 2.200.
Student Lockers
Enrolled in summer classes? If so, you are eligible to rent a student locker for summer. Lockers are issued from the Gregory Gym Store and are available now on a first-come, first-served basis.
